Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Ivy (Diem Vuong) Nguyen (“Ivy,” “we,” “us”) collects through diemvuongnguyen.org, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices and rights you have. It is posted under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and describes the rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA.

Who We Are
Ivy is a California real estate salesperson (DRE #02231713) licensed under eXp Realty of Southern California, Inc., 10620 Treena St Ste 230, San Diego, CA 92131. If you become a client, your transaction records are also handled under the broker's own policies and California record-keeping requirements.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you use a form on this site we collect what you enter:
- Playbook request: name, email address, and whether you are a buyer, seller, or investor.
- Consultation inquiry: name, email, phone number (optional), primary objective, anticipated price range, and any details you write in the message box.
- Consultation booking: name, email, phone number (optional), topic, preferred and alternate dates and time, and notes.
- Your text-message choice on the consultation forms, if you tick the optional box.
Price estimate tool. The address, property style, and bedroom count you enter in the price estimate tool are processed only in your browser. They are not sent to us or stored.
Voice and chat assistant. If you start a conversation with the AI assistant on this site, the audio and/or text of that conversation, and any details you share in it, are processed by our assistant provider (ElevenLabs) and may be recorded and transcribed so we can respond to you and improve the service. Do not start a conversation if you do not want it recorded.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and security providers receive your IP address, browser and device type, and pages requested. A security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs on our forms to block spam and may evaluate browser signals. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or cross-site tracking pixels.
Cookies and browser storage. We store a small value in your browser to remember that you dismissed the site disclaimer. If you choose a language from the translator, Google Translate sets a googtrans cookie to remember it.
How We Use Information
- To reply to your request and send the materials you asked for.
- To schedule and prepare for consultations.
- To contact you by email or phone about your request. We send text messages only if you opted in to receive them.
- To send occasional market updates by email if you requested the Playbook. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also opt out at any time by emailing us.
- To protect the site against spam, fraud, and abuse, and to meet legal, licensing, and record-keeping obligations.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep inquiry and contact records for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our relationship, and then for up to three years. Transaction files are kept for the period California real estate law requires (currently at least three years after closing). You may ask us to delete your information sooner; see your rights below.
Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we use it, and who we have disclosed it to;
- Access a copy of your personal information;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions such as licensing record-keeping;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do neither, but you may still submit a request;
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not ask for sensitive personal information through this site; please do not send Social Security, bank, or financial account numbers through our forms or assistant; and
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email info@diemvuongnguyen.org with the subject “Privacy Request,” or call (714) 462-1315. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. We will verify your identity by matching the details you give us with the details we hold. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask the agent for proof of your signed permission.
Shine the Light. California Civil Code §1798.83 lets California residents ask whether we disclosed personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing. We do not make such disclosures.
Your Communication Choices
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us to opt out.
- Text messages: reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to texts is never a condition of working with Ivy.
- Do Not Track: we do not track you across other websites, so we treat browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals as satisfied by default.
Security & Children
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and server-side handling of form credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
